Club Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 large tomatoes
    2 onions
    2 tsp. salt
    2 c. vinegar
    3 green peppers
    3 red peppers
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Peel tomatoes, dice onions; cook with salt and vinegar for 1 1/2 hours.
    Stir often.
    Slice peppers in thin strips, add to tomatoes and cook 3/4 hour.
    Add sugar, cook on low heat for 15 minutes.
    Put in pint jars and process 15 minutes.
