Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bacon or sausage
    2 c. milk
    6 eggs, beaten
    9 slices bread, trimmed
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 stick melted butter
Preparation
    Melt butter in 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
    Lay bread on bottom of dish.
    Place cooked meat over bread layer.
    Pour egg and milk mixture over meat. Let set in refrigerator overnight.
    Bake next day at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes; add cheese for last 15 minutes.
