Stone Crock Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Spry
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. water
    3 c. flour
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    1 c. dates, chopped
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. instant coffee
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and brown sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Sift flour, spices and salt.
    Dissolve coffee in the water and add to mixture. Add nuts and dates.
    Can use other things instead.
    Drop by teaspoon and bake at 350\u00b0.
