Old Fashion Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. lard or margarine
    1 1/2 c. sweet milk
    self-rising flour
    yellow food coloring
    chicken
    extra fat
Preparation
    Sift self-rising flour.
    Mix flour, lard and milk together real well.
    Add more flour until dough is real stiff.
    Pinch off small amount and roll out on floured board as thin as possible. Sprinkle black pepper on dough.
    Cut in small pieces and drop in boiling broth in which you've cooked your chicken.
    Take meat off the bones; drop in with dumplings.
