The All-American Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 serving size) pkg. or 2 (4 serving size) pkg. Jell-O brand berry blue flavor gelatin
    4 c. boiling water
    4 c. angel food or pound cake cubes
    1 (8 serving size) pkg. or 2 (4 serving size) pkg. Jell-O brand gelatin (any red flavor)
    2 c. cold water
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    2 c. sliced strawberries
Preparation
    Dissolve each flavor of gelatin completely in 2 cups boiling water in separate bowls. Stir 1 cup cold water into each.
    Pour into separate 13 x 9-inch pans. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Cut into 1/2-inch cubes.
    Layer gelatin cubes, whipped topping, cake and strawberries in 3-quart serving bowl.
    Garnish with remaining whipped topping and Jell-O star jigglers. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serves 12 to 16.
