Two Layer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 c. pastry flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream shortening; add sugar slowly.
    Add well beaten eggs, beating well.
    Add vanilla.
    Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with milk to first mixture.
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Bake in 2 layer cake pans about 25 minutes.
