Ingredients

1 bag carrots (small)
1/4 c. plus 1 Tbsp. margarine, softened
1/4 c. sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp. water
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Scrape carrots and cut up.
Combine all ingredients in pan; cover and bring to boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer until carrots are tender.
Uncover and cook over medium heat until liquid evaporates and carrots are glazed.
