Holiday Walnuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup honey
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
4 to 5 cups walnuts
Preparation

Combine sugar, water, honey, and salt in saucepan. Cook on low to medium heat until candy thermometer reads 248 degrees. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and nuts. Stir quickly with wooden spoon. It may take a while, but the mixture will get thick and white, about 4 minutes. Empty onto waxed paper and separate pieces.
