Shrimp Fondue Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices white bread
    butter
    1 c. cooked shrimp
    salt
    pepper
    2 c. American cheese, grated
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Spread bread generously with butter; cut into 1/2-inch cubes. Arrange layer in bottom of buttered casserole, then add layer of shrimp and of cheese, sprinkling each layer with salt and pepper. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
    Combine eggs and milk; pour over contents of casserole.
    Set in hot water and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean.
