Shepherd'S Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. chicken
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. oil
2/3 c. red wine
1/4 c. Kikkoman
2 Tbsp. ketchup
1 clove garlic
1 onion, chunked and separated
1 green pepper, chopped
Preparation

Lightly coat chicken pieces with cornstarch. Brown on all sides in hot oil in a large skillet with lid over medium heat. Combine wine, soy sauce, ketchup and garlic. Pour over chicken. Sprinkle onion and pepper pieces over chicken. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Turn pieces over and simmer, covered, 15 minutes longer or until tender. Serve over rice.
