White Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped almonds
Preparation
    Combine sugar, sour cream, milk, butter, syrup and salt in saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved and mixture comes to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Cook to 238\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
    Remove from heat and let stand until lukewarm. Add vanilla.
    Beat until mixture begins to lose gloss and hold shape.
    Stir in almonds and quickly turn into buttered 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Let stand until firm before cutting.
