Ms. Mary'S Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can asparagus
    1 can English peas
    1 can cream of chicken, mushroom or celery soup
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    juice of 1 lemon
    chopped almonds or pecans (optional)
    salt and pepper to taste
    buttered cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Make a sauce, mixing mayonnaise, lemon juice and your choice of soup together.
    Layer dish with asparagus, then peas.
    Cover these with the sauce.
    Sprinkle cracker crumbs and nuts on top. Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for about 30 minutes.
