Merle'S Orange Lemon Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. milk
1 c. butter
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. plain flour
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Sift flour and baking powder; add to the creamed sugar and butter, alternately with milk.
Beat until creamy.
Bake in 8 or 9-inch cake pans in 4 layers.
