Quick Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 strips bacon, cut fine
    1/2 c. celery, cut fine
    2 c. raw potato, cut fine
    1/2 c. carrots, cut fine
    1 small onion, cut fine
Preparation
    Add 1 quart water to ingredients; cook until tender.
    Mash well.
    Add milk, salt, pepper and butter to taste.
    Simmer.
