Banana Cake With Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
3 large bananas, mashed
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour

Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and bananas together.
Add eggs one at a time.
Add soda, dissolved in buttermilk, then add flour and baking powder sifted together.
Bake in moderate oven in layers or loaf pans.
Ice with Caramel Icing.
