Apple-Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. cake flour, sifted
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. corn oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, well beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. fresh apples, chopped into small pieces
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Sift the flour, soda and salt together 3 times.
Add the corn oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Prepare apples and nuts.
Add flour, a little at a time, to sugar mixture.
Add apples and nuts last.
Mix well.
Put in oven set at 325\u00b0 and bake 45 minutes. Makes 3 layers.
