Corn Cob Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 dried red corn cobs
    water (to cover)
    4 c. sugar
    1 (1 3/4 oz.) pkg. powdered fruit pectin
    oil of cinnamon to taste
Preparation
    Break corn cobs into pieces. Put in large pot. Cover with water and bring to a rolling boil. Boil for 30 minutes. Add water during boiling period to maintain about same water level. Remove cobs and strain liquid. Measure 3 cups of liquid into a
    larger saucepan; stir in pectin. Bring to a full, rolling boil; then add sugar. Bring again to boiling, stirring until sugar is melted. Boil hard for 1 minute. Just before removing from heat, you add oil of cinnamon for flavor.
