Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. almond or vanilla extract
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 (8 oz.) pkg. sour cream
1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Spray two 9-inch round cake pans.
Cream the butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs until mixture is very light and fluffy.
Add extract.
Combine flour and soda together, then add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream.
Divide batter evenly in pans, spreading filling on top.
Sprinkle streusel topping over cherry filling.
Bake for 25 to 35 minutes.
