Tahitian Curried Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large onions, chopped fine
    6 tbsp. melted butter
    5 to 6 lb. large shrimp
    6 cloves garlic, minced
    4 to 5 tsp. curry powder
    1 c. cooking sherry
    1/2 c. freshly chopped parsley
    about 8 c. steamed rice
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter until yellow.
    Add shrimp, garlic and curry.
    Stir well.
    Add sherry.
    Cover and cook over very low heat 15 minutes.
    Just before serving, sprinkle with parsley.
    Serve with wild rice and soy sauce.
