Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    2 c. raisins
    2/3 c. lard
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. cold water
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Cook raisins in water slowly 15 minutes.
    Combine all ingredients.
    Bake in oven at 325\u00b0 about 45 minutes.
    Make a double cake.
