Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
    20 oz. crushed pineapple, drained and save juice
    8 c. diced apples
    2 c. chopped salted peanuts
    1 (16 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    In small pan, mix flour and sugar.
    Add eggs, vinegar and pineapple juice.
    Cook over low heat.
    Stir until thick (takes quite awhile).
    Cool.
    Pour over apples and pineapple.
    Add 1 cup of peanuts and Cool Whip.
    Sprinkle top with remaining nuts. Refrigerate overnight.
