Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. shortening
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. hot water
1/2 c. walnuts
1 pkg. butterscotch nibs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. oatmeal
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add beaten eggs.
Add hot water. Add flour mixed with soda.
Add chopped nuts, oatmeal and vanilla, then 8 ounces butterscotch nibs.
Bake teaspoonfuls on sheet at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
