Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. melted shortening
    1/3 c. white sugar
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    Coffee floats
Preparation
    In bowl, stir together flour, cinnamon and soda; set aside.
    In another bowl, stir shortening and sugars until combined.
    Stir in egg and vanilla; mix well.
    Stir in spiced flour mixture; mix. Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
    Roll each ball in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
    Place on lightly greased cookie sheet 2-inches apart.
    Flatten each ball by crisscrossing with a fork.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven 6 to 8 minutes until edges are brown.
    Remove and cool on rack.
    Makes 36 cookies.
    Serve with Coffee Floats.
