Creamy Whipped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. medium potatoes
    salt
    1 (8 oz.) container whipped cream cheese with chives
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
    3/4 stick margarine or butter
    3 c. heavy whipping cream
    1/4 sliced almonds
    paprika
Preparation
    Peel potatoes; cut into quarters.
    Heat potatoes, 1 teaspoon salt and enough water to cover to boiling.
    Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
    Drain well.
