Peach Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. angel food cake mix
    2 c. heavy cream
    1 lb. fresh peaches, sliced and sweetened to taste
Preparation
    Prepare cake as directed, baking in a tube pan.
    When cool, cut cake horizontally in 3 even layers.
    Whip cream until it stands in peaks.
    Spread part of cream on one layer and top with peaches.
    Repeat on each layer, stacking one on top of the other. Spread remaining cream on top.
    Top with peaches.
    Serve immediately.
    To prevent peaches from browning, dissolve 1 teaspoon ascorbic acid crystals in 3 tablespoons water and mix well.
