Apricot Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (17 oz.) can apricots, drained and chopped
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
2 pkg. orange jello
2 c. hot water
1 c. apricot juice
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. pineapple juice
1 c. whipping cream
3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Keep apricot and pineapple juices separate.
Chill fruit. Dissolve jello in hot water.
Add apricot juice.
Fold in apricots, pineapple and marshmallows.
Chill.
Combine sugar and flour.
Add egg and butter.
Add pineapple juice; cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thick.
Cool.
Fold in whipped cream; spread over jello mixture.
Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.
Chill.
