Baked Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 tomatoes
6 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 c. bread crumbs or plain soda crackers, crushed
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
pepper, chervil (garlic) and oregano to taste
Preparation

Halve tomatoes and trim ends so they lie flat in pan.
Put in buttered pan.
Mix dry ingredients and melted margarine.
Pat on tomatoes firmly.
(Especially delicious when Maryland tomatoes are used.)
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Serves 6.
