Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sweet potatoes
    1/2 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Set oven at 375\u00b0.
    Cook yellow sweet potatoes until done.
    Run through Foley food mill.
    Add 1/2 cup shortening to 2 cups warm sweet potatoes.
    Mix well.
    Add sugar, sifted flour, salt and baking powder.
    Roll out on floured board.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes. May be frozen.
    Makes about 2 dozen biscuits.
