Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Mix the first 5 ingredients.
    Add buttermilk, to which soda has been added, eggs, vanilla, oil and jam.
    Mix well.
    Stir in nuts and raisins.
    Makes 3 round 9-inch layers.
    Bake for 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
