Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    4 c. peanuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and water to 250\u00b0.
    Add peanuts.
    Cook to 300\u00b0; leave over low heat while adding vanilla, butter and soda. Pour out on greased cookie sheets and shake out on pans.
