Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef chuck, cut into pieces (beef stew)
    2 c. onions, diced
    2 c. potatoes, quartered
    2 c. fresh carrots, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
    2 c. celery, cut into 2-inch pieces
    1 can sliced mushrooms
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. sugar
    5 Tbsp. tapioca
    3 c. tomato juice
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in order given in Dutch oven with tightly fitting lid.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 5 to 6 hours.
    No browning is necessary.
    When done, the gravy will be thick, brown and delicious.
