Chocolate Chip Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or oleo
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. milk
1 c. quick oats
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla and beat thoroughly.
Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk in thirds, beating smooth after each addition.
Stir in oats and chocolate chips.
Spread in a greased jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Makes 48 bars.
