Cream Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. cream
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Stir quick over heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Stir and cook these ingredients slowly to a soft ball stage (238\u00b0).
    Remove the candy from the fire.
    Cool it.
    Beat it until it is creamy.
    Pour it onto an oiled platter.
    Cut into squares.
