Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 1/2 sticks melted butter
Preparation
    Mix together with a wooden spoon.
    Melt 1 package caramels and 1/2 cup evaporated milk in a double boiler.
    Pour 1/2 of the batter into a greased 9 x 12-inch cake pan and bake 6 to 8 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool.
