Jello Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jell-O (red or green)
    1 can pineapple slices
Preparation
    Prepare Jell-O per instructions on package using 1/2 cup less water.
    Chill until slightly set.
    Open pineapple, removing all of can top.
    Rinse can and save.
    Drain pineapple well.
    Pour a small (2 tablespoons) Jell-O in can.
    Add a slice of pineapple, a little Jell-O, another slice, more Jell-O, etc., until can is full.
    Chill until firm.
    When ready to serve, run hot water over can to loosen Jell-O.
    Gently shake Jell-O onto plate, then cut between each slice of pineapple.
    Arrange on plate and serve.
