Swedish Fruit Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (11 oz.) pkg. (1 3/4 c.) mixed dried fruits
    1/2 c. golden seedless raisins
    3 to 4-inch stick cinnamon
    4 c. water
    1 medium orange, pared, cut in 1/2-inch slices
    1 (No. 2) can unsweetened pineapple juice
    1/2 c. currant jelly
    3 Tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook dried fruits, raisins, cinnamon and water.
    Bring to boiling, then simmer uncovered until fruits are tender, about 30 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Bring to a boil; cover. Cook over low heat 15 minutes longer, stirring occasionally. Serve warm or chilled.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
