Zucchini Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Italian sweet or hot sausage (casings removed)
    2 lb. zucchini, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
    2 c. celery, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
    2 green peppers, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
    2 cans tomatoes (28 oz. each)
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. oregano
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Brown sausage in a large Dutch oven; drain off fat.
    Add celery and cook for 10 minutes.
    Add the rest of the ingredients, except green peppers; cook, covered, for 10 more minutes.
    Add green peppers before serving, then top with grated cheese (if you like).
