Mex-Tex Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck or 1 1/4 lb. ground chuck and 1/4 lb. Italian sausage
    1 1/2 c. Pace picante sauce (medium; reserve 1/2 c. for sauce)
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. cumin
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together well and put in a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour; carefully pour off drippings. Combine 1/2 cup picante sauce and brown sugar; mix well and spread over surface of meat loaf.
    Bake another 15 minutes.
    Let stand 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
