Ziti Alla Carbonara - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon, diced
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 c. dry white wine
    1 lb. ziti
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of black pepper
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp in heavy saucepot.
    Remove bacon; drain off drippings, returning 2 tablespoons to pot.
    Saute onion in drippings until just transparent; add wine.
    Cook until wine is reduced by half.
    Cook ziti according to package directions; drain well, return to pot.
    Add bacon, onion mixture and eggs, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.
    Toss lightly until ziti is well coated. Serve immediately.
    Yields 4 servings.
