Old Fashioned Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
pinch of salt
1 egg
1 1/2 c. cream and milk
Preparation

Mix sugar, flour and salt thoroughly.
Beat egg and add milk and cream.
Stir.
Add milk and egg to sugar mixture and stir. Fill unbaked pie shell.
Spread pie shell with soft butter and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake at 450\u00b0
for 10 minutes, reduce heat to 375\u00b0 and bake 30 to 45 minutes, or until set.
You may add 1 teaspoon vanilla to filling if desired.
