Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices lightly buttered bread, cubed or whole (less may be used)
    2 c. milk
    2 eggs or 4 egg yolks
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Place bread in baking dish.
    Beat eggs, milk, sugar and salt together.
    Pour over bread; add vanilla.
    Place dish in pan of hot water and bake 40
    minutes at 350\u00b0, until firm in center.
    Makes 4 servings.
