Quick, Crisp Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 qt. thinly sliced cucumbers
6 medium onions, thinly sliced
3 c. white vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
2 Tbsp. mustard seed
5 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation

Pour over drained cukes and onions. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat immediately and pack in hot jars. Seal. Yield: about 8 pints.
