Gravy Water - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion
    1/2 c. sliced carrots (fresh and raw)
    1/4 c. celery leaves, washed well
    2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. dry white wine or substitute with water
    giblets, chopped
Preparation
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover and simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
    Strain well.
    Reserve liquid!
    Discard vegetables and use liquid to make gravy.
