Chop Suey - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. stew beef, sliced very thin (easier to slice when 1/2 frozen)
1/2 stalk celery, sliced very thin crosswise
1 large onion, sliced thin
1 large bell pepper, sliced thin
1 can bean sprouts
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
soy sauce and pepper to taste
3 or 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. cold water
Preparation

Cook meat almost tender.
Add soy sauce and other seasonings and a small amount of water while cooking.
When meat is tender, add onions, celery and green pepper and thicken to desired thickness with cornstarch mixed with 1 cup of cold water.
Simmer only a few minutes.
Add bean sprouts.
Serve over cooked rice.
