Bacon Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bacon
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 c. cubed, raw potatoes
    2 c. water
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. sour cream
    1 3/4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp; drain.
    Crumble and set aside.
    Saute onion in small amount of bacon fat.
    Add potatoes and water and cook until tender.
    Stir in soup and sour cream.
    Gradually add milk, salt, pepper and parsley.
    Add crumbled bacon.
    Heat and stir until thoroughly heated, but do not boil.
    Serves 6 to 8.
