Spiced Fruit Sauce For Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. pineapple tidbits
    1 c. apricot halves
    3-inch stick cinnamon
    12 whole cloves
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. seedless raisins
Preparation
    Drain pineapple and apricots, reserving syrup.
    Cut apricots in quarters.
    Combine syrups and spices; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
    Remove spices.
    Combine sugar and cornstarch; stir in small amount of hot syrup, mixing well.
    Return to hot mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and comes to boiling.
    Add apricots, pineapple and raisins.
    Continue cooking 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Serve warm with ham.
    Makes about 1 3/4 cups.
