Apple Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1 c. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. nutmeg
    1 Tbsp. salt
    10 c. water
Preparation
    Cook until thick.
    Then add 3 tablespoons lemon juice.
    Fill 7 quart jars 1/3 full of sauce and fill jar with apples and process in boiling water for 20 minutes.
    Pour 1-quart in unbaked pie shell for pie.
    Bake 40 to 50 minutes at 400\u00b0
    or until brown.
