Pasta Salad Nicoise With California Avocado - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. fat-free Italian dressing
1/4 c. chopped fresh basil leaves
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes, crushed
2 c. cooked shell macaroni, drained
1 (6 oz.) can water-packed tuna
3/4 c. diced tomato
1/2 medium ripe California avocado, seeded and diced
1/4 c. thinly sliced red onion
2 Tbsp. chopped black olives
4 green leaf lettuce leaves
Preparation

In a small bowl, combine dressing, basil, garlic and red pepper flakes; set aside.
In a large bowl, combine macaroni, albacore, tomato, avocado, red onion and olives.
Add dressing and toss.
Line four plates with lettuce leaves and spoon on salad. Makes 4 servings.
