Ingredients

5 oz. baking chocolate, melted
5 c. milk, scalded
2 1/2 c. sugar
5 Tbsp. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
4 eggs, beaten
5 c. cream
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour and salt in heavy pan.
Add chocolate and milk.
Cook until thickened or coats a spoon.
Add small amount of hot mixture to eggs.
Add to rest of mixture and cook for 1 minute longer.
Add vanilla.
Pour in ice cream freezer can.
Chill.
Add cream and freeze as usual.
