Praline French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 eggs
    1 1/2 c. half and half
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    8 (3/4-inch) slices French bread
    1/2 c. oleo
    1/2 c. maple syrup
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Blend eggs, half and half, 1 tablespoon brown sugar and vanilla.
    Pour 1/2 of mixture in pan.
    Place in one layer of bread; pour in remaining liquid.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    In another 9 x 13-inch pan, melt oleo, brown sugar, syrup and nuts. Place the soaked bread on top of the mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until puffed and brown, about 30 to 35 minutes.
